We are inviting you onto the journey of Alpha at Church. Alpha is a series of group conversations where people of any age come to explore faith through a Christian lens. We create a non-judgmental and open environment where it’s easy for anyone who is an atheist, sceptic or just curious to ask life’s big questions and share their point of view with others.


 

How it Works

A typical evening for Alpha looks like this:

Introductions

Grab something to drink and jump on Zoom from the comfort of your home. You’ll meet some new people and get to catch up on the week.

Watch a short film

Each Alpha evening features a film designed to inspire more questions than provide answers. They explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity.

Each week there is a different subject to address, with questions such as “Who is Jesus” and “How can we have faith?”

Discuss the questions that matter to you

The entire night builds towards this experience: after the film your hosts will lead conversations in small groups. It’s an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective (if you want to) in an honest, friendly and open environment.
 

Try Alpha

We are starting Alpha Online from the first week of March, all on different nights of the week. It is a 10 week session held in small groups, all currently facilitated online. Each weekly talk looks at a different themed question around the Christian faith and is designed to create amazing conversation.
